Beginner Level

Basis and Fundamentals

The beginner level will take you from zero to achieving an independent handstand with the best possible technique. It is divided into 3 levels so you can easily decide where to join us depending on your experience. There are no prerequisites for this level, just a desire to do the handstand!

Intermediate Level

Different climbs and positions

The intermediate level will take you from holding the free handstand for one minute to being able to practise it in any position. You will also develop the muscles necessary to achieve different postures both vertical variants and handbalance elements such as crocodile and its variants. 

Advanced Level

Transitions, figures, press...

In this advanced level we introduce transitions, strength elements such as push-ups, handstand walks, initiation to OAHS, Press to Handstand... If your level of two-arm handstand is solid, you have started to practice strength elements and you want to deepen your practice, this is the class for you!

Learning to do the pino is not just for gymnasts. It is a way to connect with your body through control, focus and consistency.
In our handstands and handbalance classes you will learn from scratch -or from wherever you are- how to hold yourself upright, progressing step by step and with the security of being guided by coaches with real experience.

This is not about mindless bending and repetition for the sake of repetition. It is about understanding, feeling and mastering every part of your body.
Have you done yoga, calisthenics, crossfit or just want to do something different with your body? Then this is the next step for you.

Mastering

For those who want to go further

If you are a former gymnast or have a good level, don't worry: we will challenge you. We'll work on variations, alignments, dynamic entries and more complex balances that will really challenge you. Because mastering the basics is fine, but exploring the limits... that's another matter.

In addition, if you already do presses, advanced holds or handstands longer than 30 seconds, we will focus on refining technical details and unlocking elements like stalder entries, one-arm progressions, handstand shapes, freestanding transitions or even small acrobatic combinations that integrate strength, form and creativity. If you are looking for that point between the artistic and the physical... you will find it here.

Methodology and Progression

We don't teach tricks. We teach processes.

There are no shortcuts or magic formulas here. Learning to do real handstands takes time, commitment and a guide who understands your body and your rhythm.
That's why, at Indomove, we don't follow a fixed routine, but a progression adapted to you. Each person arrives with a different starting point, and our job is to accompany you from there as far as you want to go.

It doesn't matter if you can't even hold a half-second upright today or if you've already been able to do a handstand for several seconds: what matters is that you know exactly what to train, how to do it and why you're doing each exercise.

  • The monthly fee must be paid at the beginning of each month.
  • Each month is counted as 4 weeks, so all months will have the same rate (link to calendar).
  • If individual lessons are paid for, the price will always be 14€/lesson.
  • If your child misses a class, he/she can make up the class on another day.
  • If you cannot make up the class on another day, the class fee cannot be carried over to the next month or deducted from the current month.
  • If you give notice at the beginning of the month that you will not be attending classes (e.g. due to holidays), you will be charged €14 per class instead of the full month's fee.
  • In exceptional circumstances there is the possibility to make adjustments to payments.

Here you can find some answers to some of the questions you may have before enrolling your son/daughter at the Best Gymnastics and Acrobatics Academy in Javea and the Costa Blanca.

No. Most people who start with us have never done a handstand before. We start with the basics: physical preparation, mobility, simple progressions and confidence. We accompany you every step of the way.

You don't need to be in your best shape, but you do need to come with desire. You will gain functional strength as you go along. Our job is to help you develop it little by little, safely.

Comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. We train barefoot or with non-slip socks. If you train at the Gravity Studio, bring your water bottle. If it's on the beach, we'll let you know beforehand so you come prepared.

Of course they do. In fact, many people combine it with crossfit, yoga, calisthenics or functional training. Learning handstands complements other disciplines perfectly.

There is no age to train your body and learn something new. Most students are between 20 and 45 years old, but we have people in their 50s who train better than many 25-year-olds. It's your attitude that matters, not your age.

Yes, of course we do. We have a lot of flexibility for people coming for a few days or a few weeks. You can join individual classes or choose one of our packs of classes with personalised rates according to your stay. Write to us and we will help you find the option that best suits you.
