    Our Story

    Jávea, January 2012.

It was just a typical day at recess—one of those days where the sun warms the walls of the high school and conversations revolve around the latest trends: Parkour. Alejandro Gil, better known to everyone as Ali, was talking with his friends about videos of the legendary David Belle and the Yamakasi, daydreaming about impossible jumps, adrenaline, and freedom. Amidst the laughter, one of his best friends (Carlos) threw out a phrase that, without him knowing it, would change his life forever:

"Hey, why don't you start a parkour group?"

That comment, half-joke and half-spontaneous idea, planted a seed. And what began as simple curiosity… soon became a flame that was hard to extinguish.

Over the following months, Ali couldn't think of anything else. Every corner of Jávea was transformed into his own training park: benches, walls, railings… Everything was an opportunity to move, learn, and improve.

And that was how, on April 11, 2012, the first real spark was struck: he opened a public page dedicated to Parkour on a social network that is now history, Tuenti. A digital space that would become the meeting point for young people with that same desire to fly.

    April 12, 2012.

The clock marked the time to train. That day, 12 people gathered at Thiviers Park, in the heart of Jávea. Without knowing it, they were writing the first chapter of something very special.

Thus, Free Parkour Xàbia was born, the first parkour group in the area. They trained, they fell, they got back up… and they laughed. But as happens with many stories, time took its toll. Some stopped coming, others left for their studies. Only three names resisted the passage of time: Ali, Jack, and Cain. And with them, the flame stayed alive.

In 2014, when many thought that chapter was closed, the group was reborn even stronger under a new name: Knockout Brothers. But this time, they weren't just traceurs. Calisthenics athletes also arrived, ready to push the human body to the limit, including Adri, Juan, Cristian, Juanma, and the brothers Javi and Jose Postigo.

For a time, the group grew, improved, and dreamed. Until life forced another pause: studies, jobs, different paths… Another hiatus. But sometimes, to gain momentum, you have to stop for a moment.

    2017.

Ali finished his TCAF studies and began working at an Artistic Gymnastics center alongside the Canarian brothers Alex (Ali's former coach) and Yamil. And there, almost unexpectedly, another passion was born: balance, acrobatics… the precision of the body in the air. With some former teammates like Luca and Manel (now students), the desire to return was reignited.

And this time, something was different. There was more maturity, more knowledge. It was no longer just parkour… it was conscious movement, body and mind in balance.

    May 28, 2018.

That day remains etched in memory forever. They uploaded their first official video to Instagram under a new name:

    Indomove Project.

A new stage was beginning. Clearer, freer, stronger. And this time, it wasn't just a group of friends: it was a project, a philosophy, a family. Since that moment, Indomove has not stopped growing. New athletes have joined the journey. The community has expanded. But the essence… remains the same: training together, enjoying the process, and moving with soul.

Indomove Academy wasn't born in a gym. It was born in a park, with dreams, with falls, and with friends who didn't give up.

And today, more than ever, we continue to believe that every great journey starts with a conversation, a laugh, and a crazy idea in the middle of recess.

⚠️ Stay tuned for Part 2, where we will explain how Indomove Project grew ⚠️
