Our History

Origin Indomove

Jávea, January 2012.

It was an ordinary day at recess, one of those days when the sun caresses the walls of the school and the conversations revolve around the latest thing that's hot among the kids: the Parkour. Alejandro Gil, or as everyone knows him, Alitalked with his friends about the videos of the legendary David Belle and the Yamakasidaydreaming of impossible jumps, adrenaline and freedom. Laughing, one of his best friends (Carlos) throws him a phrase that, without knowing it, will change his life forever:

-Hey, why don't you start a parkour group?

That comment, half joking and half witty, planted a seed. And what started as a simple curiosity... soon became a flame that was hard to extinguish.

During the following months, Ali could think of nothing else. Every corner of Jávea was transformed into his own training park: benches, walls, railings... Everything was an opportunity to move, learn and improve.

And so it was that the 11 April 2012The first real spark was born: he opened a public page dedicated to Parkour on a social network that is now history, Tuenti. A digital space that would become the meeting point for young people with the same desire to fly.

12 April 2012.

The clock was ticking for training. On that day, 12 people gathered in the Thiviers Parkin the heart of Jávea. Without knowing it, they were writing the first chapter of something very special.

Thus was born Free Parkour Xàbiathe first parkour group in the area. They trained, fell down, got up... and laughed. But as with many stories, time took its toll. Some stopped coming, others left for studies. Only three names stood the test of time: Ali, Jack and Cain. And with them, the flame lived on.

At 2014At a time when many thought that chapter was already closed, the group was reborn with more strength and a new name: Knockout Brothers. But this time, it wasn't just tracers. Calisthenics athletes also arrived, ready to push the human body to the limit, such as Adri, Juan, Cristian, Juanma and the brothers Javi and Jose Postigo.

For a time, the group grew, improved, dreamed. Until life took another pause: studies, jobs, different paths... A new break. But sometimes, to pick up momentum, you have to stop for a moment.

2017.

Ali finishes his studies in TCAF and starts working in a centre of Artistic Gymnastics by the Canarian brothers Alex (Ali's former coach) and Yamil. And there, almost without expecting it, another passion was born: balancing, acrobatics... the precision of the body in the air. with some former colleagues like Luca and Manel (now students)The desire to return was rekindled.

And this time, something was different. There was more maturity, more knowledge. It was no longer just parkour... it was conscious movement, body and mind in balance.

Calisthenics Indomove Academy

28 May 2018.

That day will remain etched in our minds forever. They uploaded their first official video on Instagram under a new name:

Indomove Project.

A new stage was beginning. Clearer, freer, stronger. And this time, it wasn't just a group of friends: it was a project, a philosophy, a family. Since then, Indomove has not stopped growing. New athletes have joined the path. The community has expanded. But the essence... remains the same: training together, enjoying the process and moving with soul.

Indomove Academy was not born in a room. It was born in a park, with illusion, with falls, with friends who did not give up.

And today, more than ever before, we continue to believe that every great journey starts with a conversation, a laugh, and a crazy idea in the middle of a break.

⚠️ Stay tuned for Part 2 where we will explain how Indomove Project ⚠️ grew.
